Commanding, intelligent and cold-hearted. Dark t-shirts and even darker eyes, he’s ruthless with his enemies and fiercely protective of what’s his. He chooses his people and will protect them to the grave.

In the Trenches Update

Right now, I’m officially in the editing trenches with Dare Me to Stay. Some chapters have me cackling and kicking my little feet, and others… well, let’s just say my delete key is definitely getting its workout in.

We are on draft #2, and the manuscript is sitting pretty at 73K with an overall word count goal of 105K. So while we still have a long way to go, No Promises was in almost exactly the same place this time last year, so I am feeling good about it.

I’m hoping to get a coherent draft over to my beta readers by the end of September for some feedback.

Back to school is right around the corner, and I am so ready! While I quit my job last spring to become a full-time author, I had both kids’ home over the summer, and it was chaos.

Two boys + writing = nope.

Come September, you’ll find me—latte in hand, in my car, in some random parking lot—plugging away. There’s just something about parking lots, man… No Wi-Fi really gets those creative juices flowing.

Hockey season is also upon us, which means extra time in parking lots and rinks for writing!

I can’t wait for you to dive back into the world of the Devils & Darlings, and read all about Little Miss Perfect and Mr. Tall, Dark and Grumpy.
